In Geology we studied the use of microfossils to date the layers in deep sea sediments. This is commonly used in petroleum and gas exploration. Morinaga make a snack called Ototo おっとっと which is pretty much the edible version of microfossils. They’re quite addictive. I think they would make the perfect beer snack.

I’ve been posting less recently because of some big events in my life. My baby daughter was born just over one week ago. She’s a lot of fun, and a lot of work. Anyway, I’ll be posting more indigofan stuff soon, and I’ll clean up the blog with the migration to the new system.
